One dimentional chains with dirac and majorana fermoins

Having read about the classification of topological insulators and superconductors, we have decided to discuss Kitaev’s wire type of system. In the following thesis, there is a general introduction of the system along with our specific choice of Hamiltonian with its energy spectrum and eigenstates; We have also found symmetries that our system has and found its place in the classification. In the last section, there are some interesting limits and their possible signatures.
