In this work we use quantum field theoretical methods, path integrals and Feynman’s rules, to calculate ground state energy for harmonic and interacting un-harmonic oscillator. First we consider standard harmonic oscillator and calculate it’s vacuum energy using generating functional. Then we use same method for interacting un-harmonic oscillator, but for interacting vertices we get Feynman’s rules and calculate ground state energy for the system by using them.
