Optimization of average sampling for air analysis

The aim of this study was to optimize of the average air sampling. It is necessary to make sure that air samples are taken correctly. The air rate during the sampling should not vary much, to ensure correct average sampling. For this in practice flow rate restrictors are used, but we used piece of gas chromatography capillary column, we could not find any references of this practice in literature. The use of gas chromatography capillary is simple, cheap and available. Initially we studied the fill rate of the sampling balloon, analyzing the laboratory with 5,10, and 20 cm capillaries.Based on the received data, we selected the section of the time where the filling speed was equal. Studies have continued in the laboratory because the air inside the laboratory is less variable, and comparison of our sample results have been measured and compared to online data which was constantly measured. Based on the results obtained, we continued experimented time interval in a 20minutes open window that also infused online data. In the experimental method used ECO Physics NOx Analyzer CLD 780 TR.The analysis method used to measure nitrogen oxides(NO,NO2,summary name NOx) with O3 Chemiluminescence. Carbon oxides (CO,CO2) and methane(CH4) were measured by PICARO G240 CRDS analyzer based on cavity ringdown spectroscopy.
