Connections between Spherical geometry and Euclidean geometry
Author: giorgi kakulashviliKeywords: Spherical geometry, Sphere, Polygons
Annotation:
Spherical geometry is the geometry of the two-dimensional surface of a sphere. Two practical applications of the principles of spherical geometry are navigation and astronomy. The article is intended to present the connection of spherical geometry with Euclidean geometry and extend basic theorems of Euclidean geometry to the spherical case.
